I'm fairly certain I'm a serial dieter. I've gained and lost the same 50 to 100 pounds over the years, trying many different eating styles. However, transitioning to a ketogenic diet also opened up the world of running on fat and ketones and the power of intermittent fasting.
The two distinctions of training my body to run on an alternate and preferred fuel source and eating within timed windows transformed my relationship with food.
This transformation completely reset my appetite—eliminating cravings and the compulsion to overeat.
Welcome to The Low-Carb Sweet Spot, my very own passion project filled with unique and engaging low-carb, high-fat recipes, resources, and weight-loss inspiration.
Enjoy exploring the site and all it has to offer! It is my sincere hope that you enjoy our keto content and find your body's perfect low-carb sweet spot.
About Natasha ...
For years, I lived trapped in the exhausting cycle so many women know all too well — losing weight, regaining it, starting over, and wondering why nothing ever felt sustainable.
I wasn’t just struggling with food.
I was struggling with stress, burnout, nervous system overload, emotional exhaustion, and a metabolism that no longer responded the way it once had.
Everything changed when I discovered the power of a low-carb ketogenic lifestyle paired with intermittent fasting — not as punishment, but as restoration.
By learning how to stabilize blood sugar, nourish my body properly, regulate stress, and work with my metabolism instead of constantly fighting against it, I experienced a transformation that went far beyond weight loss.
The cravings softened.
The constant food noise quieted.
My energy returned.
And for the first time, wellness felt sustainable.
That journey became the foundation for The Low-Carb Sweet Spot.
Today, LCSS is more than a recipe blog. It’s a wellness and lifestyle platform designed to help women over 40 rebuild their energy, support metabolic health, regulate stress, and create a softer, stronger, more sustainable approach to wellness.
Here, you’ll find nourishing low-carb recipes, metabolic reset tools, nervous system supportive strategies, hormone-conscious wellness guidance, and honest conversations about healing, balance, identity, and long-term health.
Because true transformation doesn’t come from punishment.
It comes from restoration.
And yes—you can build a soft life and a strong metabolism.
